How To Reduce Blood Cholestrol And Triglyceride

Most of the cholesterol in the blood is made by the liver – and comes from the solid fats (the saturated fats) that we consume rather than from the cholesterol that we ingest.

So while it is important to control our intake of cholesterol per se, a more effective way of keeping our blood cholesterol low is to reduce the quantity of saturated fats in our diet.

Now, the liver (being in effect a cholesterol manufacturing factory) has an important influence on the cholesterol in our blood – and it must be acknowledged that there are a few people who are lucky in that they can eat more saturated fats than others but their livers process this fat differently to the average liver, and so their blood cholesterol level remains low.
